Child Referrals

Edmund Rice Camps Auckland provides week long holiday camp experience for young children aged 8-12 years in the Auckland Region who need a holiday due to family, financial or social circumstances. These camps are concerned primarily with the welfare of children, the use of activities to achieve team building and the constant affirmation of all achievements to build self-esteem and a sense of worth in young children.

Who our camps cater for:

  • Children who meet our age requirements – between 8 and 12 years old
  • Children who need a break due to family, financial or social circumstances

We can cater for participants that have challenging behaviour and remain committed to considering all applications – however, each child referral is considered on a case by case basis. Please remember that our camps are run primarily by young adult volunteers – all our volunteers are trained and screened by Edmund Rice Camps, but may not hold specific qualifications in this field.

If you have any questions over Edmund Rice Camps, or would like to join our referrer’s mailing list, please email children@ercampsauckland.org
